Intro：Ryan Cabrera（以下简称RC），吉他手，词曲创作，德克萨斯人。本来从未打算走音乐道路。在听了Dave Matthews后，对音乐的喜爱才转变为热爱，使他脱离他的高中乐队，吵闹的punk rock乐队，名叫Caine乐队，转而拿起acoustic guitar，组了新队Rubic's Groove。在RC离开乐队之前，这支乐队在Dallas（德克萨斯州的城市）甚是流行，当地同样流行的还有Cheap Trick, Ben Harper, 和 Third Eye Blind,。利用了录音棚大部分录音工作的空当时间（Making the most of a block of studio time）--这是他兄弟送他的礼物--这个高中辍学男捣鼓出了3首demo，录音师非常欣赏，于是决定给他们录制整张专辑--免费（维基上说是在01 年）。《Elm Street》自行发行很成功，专辑是当地发售的，而且得到了广泛好评，专辑还得到了网上巨多的订单。在2001年Cabrera签约了Atlantic 公司，且在04年发行了LP《Take It All Away》。幕后有Sabelle Breer ， Curt Frasca(Avril Lavigne), Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams), 以及合作制作人Johnny Rzeznik(Goo Goo Dolls)。《You Stand Watching》在05年发行。《Moon Under Water》在08年发行。
